The first ever film to made about the BTCC!

A film by Christopher Torretto

SHIFT is an emotionally charged feature film set against the world of British touring car racing. It is a story about speed, grief, survival, and the fight to earn your way back after everything has fallen apart.

At its heart, SHIFT is about redemption.

It is about what happens when a gifted young driver loses everything and has to claw his way back, not only to the track but to himself.

But this film is about more than what happens on screen.

It is about bringing the fans into the journey from the very beginning.

We want the people who love motorsport, who believe in powerful stories, and who understand what this world means, to be part of building it with us.

This is history in the making, and we want to make it with the fans.

SHIFT tells the story of a gifted street racer whose life is shattered after a tragic crash kills his best friend. Banned from racing and haunted by guilt, he is forced to rebuild himself through pain, pressure, intimidation, and loss. With the help of a former pro mechanic and mentor, he fights his way back toward legitimate racing and the biggest test of his life. It is a story of grief, resilience, found family, survival, and redemption.

The film is built around the themes of redemption through passion and perseverance, the danger and beauty of motorsport culture, overcoming trauma and guilt, the power of mentorship, and the thin line between risk and reward on and off the track.

That combination is what makes SHIFT different. It has the energy and scale motorsport fans crave, but it is also emotionally grounded and character-driven. It is not just about who wins the race. It is about what it costs to get back on the grid at all.

Motorsport deserves cinema that feels authentic, emotional, and truly lived in.

Too often, racing stories either lose the humanity or lose the credibility.

SHIFT is being built to hold onto both.

We want to create a film with adrenaline, danger, emotion, spectacle, and heart. A film that respects the intensity of motorsport, but also understands the people behind the helmets, behind the garages, behind the scars, and behind the second chances.

This is why the support of fans matters so much.

It is about proving that there is an audience for a motorsport story with real emotional depth and real cinematic ambition.

Backing SHIFT at this stage means becoming part of the foundation of the film itself.

This is the moment where the community around the project is formed.

This is where early supporters do not just watch from a distance. They help bring the film to life.

This film is about ownership, belonging, and legacy.

When SHIFT is made, the people who backed it will be able to say they were there from the start.
